Whiskey a g-g- cultural site winner Top 60
La Laguna serpent, Dean Cheng

All the votes are in and we have the complete (and unofficial) list of Los Angeles' favorite buildings and sites from the 1960s. The Top 60 are listed in seven categories: civic/institutional, commercial/retail, residential, industrial/manufacturing, cultural sites, and cultural landscapes.

Since we just completed the final round of voting for cultural sites and cultural landscapes, the winners are...
The Whiskey a Go-Go on Sunset Boulevard (cultural site) and La Laguna de San Gabriel (cultural landscape), a whimsical playground where we held our May Day Monster Mash Picnic.

Thank you to the hundreds of people who participated in the poll--we had more than 2,000 votes submitted! It was interesting for us to see what buildings and sites Angelenos--and people beyond--loved the most.

Now, check out the complete Top 60 slideshow and Google map and the graph ranking the top five cultural sites and the top five cultural landscapes.
